Join AIRDRIE CAMPS as we partner with coaches from the Airdrie Female Raiders and Southern Alberta Female Football League (SAFFL) female tackle football teams, for a 2-day non-contact football skills camp to get ready for any of the fall tackle, 7v7 and flag football seasons coming up.
Our camp will provide a comprehensive training program, supported by an experienced coaching staff and will run for 2 two hour sessions on August 17th and 24th. Drills for all positions will be covered (e.g. footwork, throwing, catching, back pedaling and coverage), as well as competition games and physical literacy will be included.

DATES: Sundays - Aug 17 & 24
TIME: 2 hours each session - 3pm-5pm (Check in starts at 2:30pm)
AGE GROUPS: Females only, ages 10-18 (U13 = 10-12 / U16 = 13-15 / U19 = 16-18) - Depends on final numbers
CAPACITY: 20 Max Participants per age group (TBD)
COACH: Dawn Sorsdahl - Head Coach with Airdrie Female Raiders U19/U16 teams, with other experienced coaches from the SAFFL.
REGISTRATION: Opens July 1st until July 31 (or until full)
LOCATION: Airdrie - Ed Eggerer Athletic Park - Genesis Place, 800 East Lake Blvd NE, Airdrie, AB T4A 2K9
COST: $100 / person for both sessions or $60 per person for one session
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle, athletic shoes (cleats recommended) and proper workout clothing - dress for the weather. No football equipment required but football gloves are also recommended. All participants will receive a t-shirt to take home as well!
